False Memories

Most fans remember C-3PO as being entirely golden. However, in the original Star Wars trilogy, his lower right leg is clearly silver. It's easy to miss because the desert sands of Tatooine reflect yellow onto the silver leg, making it look gold. Additionally, most action figures simplified the design to be all gold, reinforcing the error for a generation of kids.
