False Memories

Many people recall the Fruit of the Loom logo featuring a pile of fruit spilling out of a brown wicker cornucopia. In reality, the logo has always been just a pile of fruit. This false memory is bafflingly specific, with many recalling learning the word 'cornucopia' from the logo itself. It's possible the arrangement of the fruit creates negative space that resembles a horn, or we just associate fruit piles with the classic 'horn of plenty' imagery.
