False Memories

Many Pokémon fans vividly remember Pikachu having a black band at the end of his lightning-bolt tail. In reality, his tail has always been solid yellow (with a brown patch at the base). The confusion might come from his black-tipped ears, leading our brains to assume the tail follows the same pattern, or perhaps conflation with 'Cosplay Pikachu' variants.
