False Memories

In Disney's 'Snow White', the Queen says, 'Magic mirror on the wall.' She never says 'Mirror, mirror.' The original Brothers Grimm fairy tale *did* use 'Mirror, mirror', and our cultural memory seems to have reverted to the original phrasing, likely because the alliteration is catchier and more memorable.
